Sadly, not every hookup is going to end up exactly how you like it. Some women just aren’t to your taste, others are loony, and some are just plan awful to be around.

Even on the best hookup sites, you’re going to end up meeting a woman that really just isn’t your thing. That’s fine, and that’s just something you’re going to have to get used to.

Watch those boundaries.

If she’s overstepping boundaries left and right, it’s really time to let her go. A lot of clingy ladies end up doing this eventually, and that’s why you really need to be careful about that.

Obviously, you don’t want to end up in a long-term relationship. If she’s showing signs of heading in that direction, you need to run and hide before it gets to that point.

Sometimes, women like this just won’t take ‘no’ for an answer. That makes things awkward and annoying, but unfortunately, ladies just end up like this sometimes. It’s up to you to deal with it without being a rude jerk, and fortunately, we know how to make that happen.

Be firm.

Our favorite, gentlest way of telling these ladies that it’s just not working out is that you just aren’t feeling it. Tell her that you think there are other men out there that would be better for her.

If she doesn’t take that, then you need to just start avoiding her. Don’t answer her e-mails, don’t reply to her texts. Block her if you have to, and eventually, she’ll get the hint.

While some women will end up being really persistent, others will ultimately just get the hint and go their separate ways. With hookups, it’s more often than not the latter.

Take her out of your little black book.

While we understand that it might be tempting to keep her name and number around, if you cut her loose once, you never, ever want to bring her back into your hookups.

Once you’ve ditched her once, you just don’t want to go back there again. It’s going to make a lot of odd feelings show up, and honestly, it reeks of bringing back an ex.

If there were already complicated feelings involved, that’s just going to lead to a lot of unnecessary drama. Remember that you’re into hookup dating because it’s stress-free, and dealing with ladies that just don’t make you happy aren’t going to contribute to that environment.
